literary response

Here are some ways Melody changed in the story. For instance, Melody was tired of the kids ignoring her like she was a ghost. “I’ve never ever been included in anything.” Another way Melody changed in the story is she makes a friend named Rose. “”Friends” i typed friends she answers with out hesitation she says friends”. She no longer feels like a fish out of water. Melody also changed in the story because she gets a mdedi talker. “Hi Dad Hi mom.I am so happy.” Mom was as happy as a hyena.These are multiple ways the main character changed in  the story.

sharon Draper’s book

This is the things i like about sharon draper’s writing. I like that the author is VERY descriptive. “Doctors where do i start doctors realy dont get me moms a nurse so i guess she speaks there language” -because she is very descriptive of the doctors.I also like how the author creates imagery i pointed at the blocks ,mom said no you dont need those i pointed again and screeched and kicked my legs-because you can see that happening in real life.I love how the author hooks the reader draper dose this in the quote “step fart i’d be laughing by the time he got to my room”she hooks the reader by makeing the reader laugh.Here is something i like about he author.

child labor :(

Now i just read about  child labor and the effects of it and wow kid getting there fingers cut off that’s Tuff and that thing with the fire and all of that but i think that child labor is stupid and not safe and probly if it was still hear i would not be here i would be rather dead or in a coal mine diging for coal and the worst par you only got 5 cents or 10 if you had a good day

reoloshonary weapons

the most importent weapon in the revloshonary war was the musket a long  smoothbore gun(a gun without grooves inside its barrel) fired from the sholder-with a bayonet attached at the end.and the musket was used most by the troops these weapons led to a certan style of fighting in the 170o
